Acting & Immersive Performance

I approach acting as embodied storytelling: character, costume, atmosphere, movement, and audience encounter working together to make an imagined world feel present.

What began with one visit to a Renaissance faire grew into nearly a decade of festival performance, murder mystery, haunt entertainment, comedy, screen appearances, and original character development. Each role offers a new study in transformation—not simply how a character looks, but how she moves, speaks, occupies a room, and changes the story around her.

A Door I Chose to Enter

I was not raised on a stage. I was rarely chosen for school plays, choirs, talent shows, or the roles I once hoped to inhabit. Acting did not begin as a childhood résumé. It arrived much later, as a deliberate threshold.

Around 2017, I attended my first Renaissance faire and immediately recognized something I wanted to enter. I took acting classes, auditioned, created costumes, and developed my first character: Fleur Soleil, a French alchemist. The name carried an unexpected resonance, recalling the sunflower role I had never been given as a child. This time, I created the role for myself.

That first character opened an entire world.

Since then, my work has moved through Renaissance performance, interactive murder mysteries, seasonal comedy, haunted attractions, screen appearances, and immersive entertainment with Riverside Entertainment. I have portrayed alchemists and apparitions, comic villains and historical horrors, nuns, crones, jesters, conspiracists, and creatures shaped for a particular night and audience.

I do not remember the work primarily by dates. I remember the roles. I remember the rooms, the costumes, the improvisations, and the moment an audience began to believe.

For me, performance is larger than reciting a part. It is character study made physical—built through voice, timing, silhouette, makeup, costume, gesture, emotional architecture, and the living exchange between performer and audience.

Character Study in Motion

A brief visual archive of characters, transformations, and live performance work—from the first doorway into Renaissance entertainment to murder mystery, haunt, comedy, and immersive storytelling.

No two rooms—and no two audiences—are ever exactly the same.

Much of my performance work has developed with Riverside Entertainment, where character meets costume, improvisation, atmosphere, and live audience encounter. These productions have allowed me to move between comedy and unease, historical fantasy and contemporary absurdity—creating distinct characters for murder mysteries, festivals, seasonal productions, haunted environments, and screen appearances.

The Character Changes.

The Work Remains.

Across comedy, fantasy, horror, and immersive performance,

I return to the same central question: what makes a character feel fully inhabited?

I build the answer through research, visual design, costume, voice, physicality, and presence—then allow the audience to complete the encounter.
