Tonight, under the veil of October’s shadow, I step into a new skin — Draveena, The Mire Witch. She is weary, wry, and steeped in the absurdity of centuries past. In the dim light of the Haunt’s Alchemist’s shop, Draveena tends her counter of bottles and charms, offering patrons sarcastic potions for the ailments they refuse to name. With every dry remark and concocted cure, she brews not only laughter but a mirror — daring visitors to see themselves in the strange reflections of her apothecary.
But Draveena is more than just a seasonal character. Her story stretches beyond the haunt. She will return as a figure in the upcoming issue of Through the Looking Sphere, where AnnaBella encounters her on Halloween night — a witch caught between worlds, keeper of secrets, and teller of riddles.
The Alchemist’s thread winds through all of this:
a living character who embodies wit and shadow,
a bauble tree collection designed with hand-sculpted details and symbolic resonance,
a gift collection waiting in Riverside Entertainment’s shop, each ornament a vessel of story and spirit.
Tonight is only the beginning. As Draveena emerges, so too does the larger myth of the Alchemist — spanning performance, craft, and the enchantments we take home with us.
